We offer the following services: Residential Water Wells: Since water is a precious natural resource, it is critical that a well be constructed properly. Our wells are drilled with quality workmanship using only the finest materials. You can rest assured sufficient casing will be set into bedrock to prevent contamination and the possibility of the well caving in. This will allow for you and your family to have a safe and reliable source of water. All wells are constructed according to the drilling requirements, the guidelines, the recommendations and the regulations of the Ministry of the Environment for the Province of Ontario and the standards specified in any subdivision agreement and hydrogeological report applicable. Our Well technicians are licensed with the Ministry of the Environment. Ground Source Heat Pump Wells: 2 Wells are drilled – one is a supply well and the other is a return well – to be used with your ground source heat pump. Ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) are electrically powered systems that tap the stored energy of the greatest solar collector in existence: the earth. These systems use the earth’s relatively constant temperature to provide heating, cooling, and hot water for homes and commercial buildings. The GSHP is one of the most efficient residential heating and cooling systems available today, with heating efficiencies 50 to 70% higher than other heating systems and cooling efficiencies 20 to 40% higher than available air conditioners. That directly translates into savings for you on your utility bills. Municipal Water Wells - Irrigation Wells - Commercial Wells - Industrial Wells: We have the ability to drill 8” to 12” wells to be used as irrigation wells, municipal wells, commercial wells and industrial wells. Agriculture & Livestock Wells: We have the ability to drill 6” to 8” wells for use as agriculture and livestock water wells. Monitoring Wells: 6” Drilling for Environmental Engineers for the purpose of installing piezometers and multilevel monitoring of groundwater. Submersible Pumps & Tanks: As a professional dealer of Berkeley Submersible Pumps we are able to custom fit the proper pump for your application. Our Pumps & Tanks have a 5 year Xtended Warranty Plan. Old Well Abandonments: All abandoned wells must be plugged and sealed in accordance with the Ministry of the Environment Regulations. Well Upgrades/Casing Extensions: A well must always be visible to ensure easy access if remedial work to the pump, or other emergency work, must be done immediately. You should determine the exact location of the well if you do not already know where it is. This will help when you need to replace any pumping or other equipment. It is advisable to have the casing raised to a minimum height of 40 cm above the ground surface. Water Softeners: In most cases, the water in your private well is generally safe for drinking and washing, Yet there may be some unpleasant substances present that can damage appliances in your home, or give your drinking water an unpleasant odour. These undesirable substances can be treated and reduced in your home by installing water treatment equipment.
